¶ Introduction
CF2IDE+ adapter has additional IDE chanell on board (based on 4xIDE), i.e. a CF card and two additional devices, the second channel (4xIDE) must be activated with idefix. On the board is a jumper to select 4xIDE or pass-through mode, in 4xIDE mode, idefix should be used (patched
due to the presence of a CF card) to be able to detect devices on pseudo-channel 2.
¶ How to install
Idefix does not work well with CF cards by default. Please download:

And then using the program:

And apply the patch: spatch.68k -o=idefix -p=IDEFix.pch IDEfix.patched
From now on, we use idefix.patched instead of idefix. The cd-rom must be mounted manually
and you must have a cd-rom filesystem. Driver atapi.device sees cd-rom without idefix
